At KoDeJa GmbH, we utilize generative AI systems as assistance tools in certain areas of the development of "The Bortle Protocol" and for this website. To ensure full transparency, we break down below which content is affected:

1. Images and Graphics

Some graphical elements of this project were created completely or partially using generative image AI models. This particularly applies to:

• Concept art and background images: E.g., the "Cinematic Splash Image" on the homepage of this website. Prominent AI images on the website are marked with a small ✨ AI icon in the corner.
• In-game UI elements: Certain graphical icons and awards (e.g., the "Devotion Badges" in the game's store system).

2. Text and Localization

Large Language Models (LLMs) are used as tools to formulate background stories (Lore), create placeholder texts on the website, and assist with translations (localization of the game into various languages). All texts are thoroughly reviewed for content and approved by our team prior to publication.

3. Code and Programming

To increase efficiency, our developers use AI-based programming assistants for structuring, optimizing, and debugging source code. The architecture and security-relevant systems remain under strict human control.
